When paying for holiday homes/units by bank transfer.
PLEASE quote the Invoice number first and then the surname if possible
Cost is $60 per night – for up to 3 Adults
and this rate was applied since the 1st July 2021.
A Special winter rate for the St Helens units is shown below.
Fourth and other additional adults, please add $10.00 per night each. Children are free.
LINEN
TASMANIAN MEMBERS: To supply your own linen.
INTERSTATE VISITORS ONLY: Linen consisting of sheets pillow slips and tea towels is supplied at a cost of $30.00 per unit per stay. This rule applies to all interstate members.
For Bookings.
Check availability first. Will need to click availability twice before the screen comes up requesting the password on the back of your membership card or as advised by the booking officer.

PAYMENT
An invoice for your booking will be sent to your email address showing amount owing and date to be paid by .
Payment is to be made to Tasmanian Railways Institute Inc either by direct debit or credit card.
For Direct debit payments please advise the invoice number and then the surname with your payment.
Credit Card payments to be made to Robert Donnelly on 0439 353 559 and advise the name and invoice number.
After payment has been received the Treasurer will send you a text to your mobile phone with the key safe codes.
Please ensure your mobile number on the invoice is correct, as it is where the key safe code will be sent.
OTHER RULES
Members cannot book for non-members.
Member or members partner must be in the home/unit for the period of your booking.
Specials
Winter rates for the St Helens units only.
Winter rate period is from the last weekend in April to the first Friday in September.
$210.00 per week for a full week only.
Christmas / January School Holidays
Please note that Members with school age children will be given priority for the school holidays.
Attempts will be made to give as many families as possible, one week holiday to their satisfaction.
Please list your priority and alternative weeks.
Tasmanian Christmas school Holiday Ballot for each year will be drawn on the 1stJuly.

If you wish to be included in the ballot please print a copy of the application form from this website, selected dates you would like and forward to Booking Officer by the 1st July by email or post.
Once the ballot is completed on the 1st July,
the vacancies are available to all members to book.
Definitely no pets allowed in any of the units.
Guide dogs and registered service dogs are permitted.
