Accommodation Costs

TASMANIAN RAILWAYS INSTITUTE Holiday Homes/Units


When paying for holiday homes/units over the internet, please quote the invoice number.

 

Cost is $60 per night –  for up to 3 Adults

and this rate was applied since the 1st July 2021.

A Special winter rate for the St Helens units is shown below.

Fourth and other additional adults, please add $10.00 per night each. Children are free.

LINEN

TASMANIAN MEMBERS: To supply your own linen. 


INTERSTATE VISITORS ONLY: Linen consisting of sheets pillow slips and tea towels is supplied at a cost of $25.00 per unit per stay until the 31st December 2023 and then increasing to $30.00 thereafter.
This rule applies to all interstate members.

PAYMENT 

An invoice for your booking will be sent to your email address showing amount owing and date to be paid by . 

Payment is to be made to Tasmanian Railways Institute Inc either by direct debit, credit card or cheque.

For Direct debit payments please advise the invoice number and then the surname with your payment.


Credit Card payments to be made to Robert Donnelly on 0439 353 559 and advise the name and invoice number.

After payment has been received the Treasurer will send you a text to your mobile phone with the key safe codes.

Please ensure the mobile number on the invoice is correct as it is where the key safe code will be sent.

 

OTHER RULES 

Members cannot book for non-members.

Member or members partner must be in the home/unit for the period of your booking.

Specials
Winter rates for St Helens units  only.

the last weekend in April to the first Friday in September $210.00 per week.

For full weeks only.


 

 


 

School Holidays

Please note that Active Family Members with school age children will be given priority for school holidays.
Christmas only.

Attempts will be made to give as many families as possible, one week holiday to their satisfaction.
Please list your priority and alternative weeks.

Definitely no pets allowed in any of the units. Guide dogs and registered service dogs permitted.
